You have been helping to organise a weekend community arts festival in your town, featuring local theatre, live music and creative workshops for teenagers. Funding has recently been reduced and the organising committee has decided to approach local businesses for support. Write a letter to the Managing Director of a well-known local company asking them to sponsor the festival. In your letter you should: - explain the aims of the festival and why it matters to the community - propose what form the sponsorship could take and how the company would benefit - address any likely concerns about cost, publicity or disruption Write your letter in 280–320 words.
